We finally get to blog about our West Coast wedding weekend! Nancy and Owen's wedding was far from traditional, with exciting and different challenges making this quite event quite unique.
Guests came from all over to the West Coast National Park to spend the weekend with these two special people.
Upon arrival at the Duinepos Chalets on the Friday evening, coffee and tea was served to welcome the guest after their long journeys. Guests were also treated to a spit braai in the evening.
We couldn't have asked for better weather! The guest kept themselves busy the Saturday morning taking drives through the park, visiting the nearby town of Langebaan and lounging by the pool.
The church service took place on the Saturday afternoon in the breathtakingly beautiful Churchhaven inside the park. The perfectly turquoise lagoon made for a stunning back drop to this special moment. Confetti was thrown, and the guests enjoyed the stunning view with some refreshments, before returning to Duinepos for the 'after party' as Nancy called it.
The white Bedouin tent, draped in fairy lights, covered the pool area where the guests spent the evening playing Giant Jenga, enjoying traditional West Coast foods and dancing the night away.
